After the success of the Secutech 2010 exhibition in which we met many new and old customers alike, Instek Digital moves onto IFSEC UK 2010 (May 10-13) where we have a joint booth (H100 Hall 4) with our UK security partner Veracity. At the show we will be demonstrating our complete MatriVideo security solution which is now integrated with Veracity's COLDSTORE, a next generation storage device designed especially for surveillance operations, it resolves critical issues such as reliability, hard drive failure, archival of evidence and power consumption.

COLDSTORE - A New Solution for Video Storage
Using new LAIDTM technology, COLDSTORE reduces hard disk failure while saving an extraordinary amount of power compared to RAID 5 systems. A single storage array of 30TB uses only 56 watts of power as the hard disks are switched off 87% of the time.
