The ObjectVideo integration, consisting of OnBoard COMPLETE and the OV Ready protocol, offers a high degree of flexibility and interoperability between the Matrivideo platform and the ObjectVideo engine.
OnBoard COMPLETE is designed mainly for existing surveillance systems that are in need of an analytical and intelligence-gathering overhaul. The ObjectVideo engine server runs on easily available Intel architecture enabling fast, wide-scale deployment to IP and analog cameras - with OnBoard COMPLETE there is no need to replace any existing surveillance devices with new OV OnBoard embedded ones.
Instek Digital’s Matrivideo hybrid solution facilitates the cutting of costs involved in rapid turnkey ObjectVideo deployment by having full compatibility between both analog and IP cameras and Matrivideo hybrid DVRs. The result of this integration means sophisticated ObjectVideo analytics can be added to practically any security installation and at the lowest of costs.
The OV Ready network protocol completes the integration by creating event notification pathways between ObjectVideo OnBoard devices and the Matrivideo platform. The Matrivideo video management system with its intuitive user interface lets the operator quickly check any events that have been detected by ObjectVideo algorithms. The added flexibility of the OV Ready protocol gives solution providers more choice as to which cameras to use and whether or not to use an on-the-edge distributed system architecture.
